The Après Art Walk unfolds from here

Move from wall to wall below to see how each artist interprets life in the mountains, from moments of stillness to bursts of color and energy.

Settle in, take a sip, and let the art pull you in.

Morning Light

Morning in the mountains is quiet, the world is still soft and untouched. The air carries a sense of possibility, like the day hasn’t yet decided what it will become.

Works in this section capture that calm: the shimmer of early light, the trace of cold air, and the anticipation of motion. Take in Heidi's monoprint logs and Maryam's abstract mountains, then move to Margo's "It's Complicated" to spy the mountain ridge through serene trees, and complete this section by stepping back to compare Bri's abstract mountains - from the simplicity of Hazey to the fine detail on Solenne (tip: look closely for the hidden constellations.)

The Climb

As the day unfolds, movement takes over — ski tracks appear, clouds shift, color builds. This part of the walk mirrors that energy.

As you make your way down the main gallery wall, you'll notice that different techniques evoke similar intensity and action - from Haley's monochrome textured skiers and ridges to Max's bold and bright ski and snowboard heroes (don't miss Wave Rider on the grey pillar to your right or Max's other work on the opposite wall and at the front of the store). This section is made complete with Margo's After the Storm series that will bring you right back to your favorite Vail ski run from earlier in the day.

Artworks in The Climb bring your favorite Vail ski memories to life - lift rides with friends, fresh powder, and expansive views.

Après

As the light fades, the mountains grow still again, but this time, they’re full of story. This is the spirit of après: color warming the edges of the day, a moment to pause, connect, and take it all in.

These works invite that sense of presence, the afterglow that lingers long after you’ve left the slopes.

Fom Margo's work, you cross the store to the left to take in Maryam's feature pieces - gorgeous as standalone works or breathtaking as a pair, they depict the vast mountainscapes of the Rockies with crisscrossing ridges and infinite blue skies.

As you make your way back to the black wall that started the tour, be sure to look back to see Maryam's Stay Playful before spending some time with Ariana's Lazy Cowgirls on the black wall and to the right of the checkout register. These cowgirls epitomize all things après - relaxed vibes, mountain views, and a favorite cocktail, what more could you ask for?
