Working in a new series of abstract landscapes, Miller explores translating how a landscape feels into visual language, prioritizing the emotion of a place over its literal form.

Large washes of acrylic on  canvas are allowed to behave unpredictably, then layered with oil for richness, bringing back just enough form to root you in the landscape while leaving room for your own interpretation.
